Call for papers: 2023 Asia Pacific Sixth Annual Conference
The World Association for Public Opinion Research(WAPOR) Asia Pacific chapter is delighted to announce that our Sixth Annual Conference will be held December 2-5, 2023 in Canberra, the capital of Australia.
The WAPOR Asia Pacific Sixth Annual Conference will be hosted and co-organized by the Centre for Social Research and Methods (CSRM) at The Australian National University, with the Local Conference Chair Prof. Nicholas Biddle, Associate Director of CSRM and 2023 WAPOR Asia Pacific Conference Chair Prof. Holli Semetko (Emory University, USA).

Conference Theme: Public Opinion Research and the Social, Political, Security &Technology Challenges facing the Asia and Pacific Region
The 2023 WAPOR Asia Pacific conference theme focuses on public opinion research and the social, political and security challenges facing the Asia and Pacific region in our technology driven world. We welcome submissions based on quantitative, experimental and computational methods, mixed methods, as well as qualitative methods, and ask that you discuss methods and data sources in your abstract. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words. The first day of the conference will be career workshops, followed by two days of in-person panel sessions. We will then have one half or one day, Dec. 5th,for virtual presentations from those unable to attend in person. Submissions from contexts and countries outside the Asia Pacific region are also welcome.
