Regional Chapters

On February 8, 2011, WAPOR Latinoamérica became the first recognized chapter of the World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR). According to Article VII of the WAPOR constitution, “members of WAPOR may organize into regional (countries or groups of countries) chapters with the aim of furthering the general purposes of WAPOR and shall be given recognition by WAPOR.” Two newly formed chapters, WAPOR Asia Pacific and WAPOR West Asia and North Africa (WANA), were established, respectively, on July 6, 2016 and February 10, 2018. Finally, most recently, on August 17, 2022 the forth regional chapter WAPOR Sub-Saharan Africa has been created.

Each chapter maintains its own website, by-laws and other organizational documents that are reasonably consistent with the WAPOR’s goals and objectives as determined by the WAPOR Council. You can read more about the regional chapters here.
