Call for Applications: Editor of the International Journal of Public Opinion Research
The International Journal of Public Opinion Research, the flagship journal of the World Association for Public Opinion Research, is seeking an editor to replace Lilach Nir and Hernando Rojas, whose term as co-editors ends autumn 2017.
The editor, appointed for a three-year term, will assume full responsibilities on 1 September 2017. The editor and his/her editorial team will be responsible for processing manuscripts submitted to the journal, ensuring timely publication of four issues each year, and working with guest editors for special-topics issues that might arise. The editor also works with Oxford University Press staff and WAPOR’s Publications Committee to effect policy and engage with developments in publishing.
Interested parties should forward applications to Porismita Borah, WAPOR Co-Chair of the Publications Committee, at porismita@gmail.com. Applications should include, at minimum: (1) a copy of the applicant’s CV; (2) a vision statement for the journal; and (3) a letter for support from the applicant’s institution. Joint applications are welcome. Full consideration will be given to applications that arrive by 1 December 2016.
