2nd International Conference on Survey Methods in Multinational, Multiregional and Multicultural Contexts (3MC 2016) held in Chicago
The second international 3MC conference was held in Chicago from July 25-29, 2016. It focused on methods, tools, strategies and protocols that help maximize comparability of survey data across countries, languages and cultures. The conference was attended by more than 180 researchers from 32 nations working on a wide range of topics related to cross-national and cross-cultural survey methods. 3MC 2016 was the second international meeting designed to focus explicitly on survey methodology for comparative research (the first 3MC conference was held in Berlin in 2008). A total of 51 sessions were included in the conference, along with several plenary speakers.
All presentations from the conference will be posted shortly on the conference website at: https://www.csdiworkshop.org/index.php/3mc-2016. A conference monograph is also under development, to be published by Wiley, that will highlight the substantial methodological, operations and technical advances in international survey research that have occurred since the Berlin meeting.
