2023 WAPOR Election Results

Dear WAPOR colleagues,

WAPOR sought to fill four offices in elections this autumn: Secretary-Treasurer, Chair of the Liaison Committee, Chair of the Membership Committee, and Chair of the Publications Committee. Voting took place between November 1 and November 30.

I am happy to inform you that Yulia Baskakova was re-elected as Secretary-Treasurer, Rosario Aguilar was elected as the Chair of the Liaison Committee, Hayk Gyuzalyan was elected as the Chair of the Membership Committee, and Rico Neumann was elected as the Chair of the Publications Committee. Their two-year terms begin on 1 January 2024.

On behalf of the nominations committee, we would like to thank the candidates who stood for the election. We also thank the 44% of the membership who voted.
