Currently based in Dakar, he oversees Voluntas, leading its growth in impact and presence globally while guiding projects that foster meaningful societies.
Niklas’ career includes leadership roles with IFES, the Danish Institute for Human Rights, and The Carter Center, where he supported elections and political processes in Libya, Sudan, South Sudan, and beyond. He holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and is fluent in Arabic, Danish, and English.
