International Social Science Council (ISSC)

WAPOR is a Member Association of the International Social Science Council (ISSC), a NGO in formal associate relations with UNESCO. The major aim of the ISSC is to advance the social sciences and their application to major contemporary problems by means of cooperation among social scientists and social science organizations at the international regional level.

WAPOR most recently received a grant from the ISSC in 2006 (Grant 067-12). The result of this grant was the drafting of  WAPOR Guidelines for Exit Polls and Election Forecasts.
