Elizabeth H. Nelson Prize

The Elizabeth H. Nelson Prize was created in recognition of the best paper presented at the annual conference by one or more authors from a society in transition. In order to be considered for this prize, authors must be from either a Tier B or C country based on WAPOR’s tier system which identifies developing nations.

Elizabeth H. Nelson is a past president of WAPOR (1991-1992) and is the Executive Chairman of Fly Research. In 2015, she started the Archive of Market and Social Research (AMSR) in the UK. They are registered as a charity and have received funding for the first three years. They are collecting data, reports, journals, and papers. Ms. Nelson serves as chairman of the AMSR.
